A role with
real ownership.

Turn ideas into products. Make technical decisions, take initiative and help shape what we build from the start.

Potential to become a cofounder

That depends on how we work together, our shared ambitions and the commitment we both bring.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Are paid projects available?

Paid contract projects may be available on request, depending on current needs and budget. Ask Axel about availability.

Before any collaboration, we’ll agree on scope, expected commitment and whether it is paid or voluntary. A potential cofounder arrangement is a separate conversation.

What does a founding role involve?

This is an early-stage startup: priorities change, resources are limited and some things need to be figured out as we go. A founding role requires commitment beyond a predictable nine-to-five, including periods of intense work.

It’s an opportunity to influence the product and its direction early on. Smaller contributions have a separate, agreed scope around your studies.

How would a research project work?

Share your research question, programme requirements and deadlines. We’ll explore a useful, realistic scope together. Independent research is welcome too.

Any access to data, users or internal materials must be agreed before the project begins.

Is contributing separate from the waitlist?

Yes. Email Axel to discuss contributing. Join the waitlist to follow OCTO’s launch; signing up doesn’t commit you to helping.

A mindmap beta is in development. Ask about current testing opportunities. The full workspace isn’t publicly available yet and has no fixed release date.
